Dundas Castle

Dundas Castle is an exclusive use venue situated within its own private 500-acre estate, 30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre and 15 minutes from the airport. Access is a breeze, and it is ideal for a destination wedding. We have been helping couples to get married for over 26 years, and have a wealth of experience.

With a variety of options for a wedding ceremony; both inside and outside, Dundas has something to suit most couples. Following the day of celebration, a good night sleep can be enjoyed in our 19 bedrooms, for up to 37 adults.

With traditional décor, the rooms within the Main House are timeless. The Auld Keep, built in 1416, is an ancient monument and authentic Scottish Castle. The Pavilion Marquee is the perfect pace for a good party for up to 180 guests. Dundas is surrounded by rolling lawns, majestic trees and beautiful herbaceous borders; all to be enjoyed and happy memories made.

The Castle of Mey was the much-loved residence of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother from 1952 until 1996, when it was gifted by Her Majesty with an endowment to The Queen Elizabeth Castle of Mey Trust.
