The Alba Wedding Honours celebrates the people and businesses behind Scotland’s weddings, recognising the care, creativity and dedication they bring to couples’ celebrations.
The 2026 ceremony took place at The Collector’s Hall in Glasgow on 10 September. It was an opportunity to celebrate the wedding community and the work that goes into making each couple’s day special.
I’m so proud to have received the Wedding Planner of the Year award and to share this news with the people who have helped my business grow.
Choosing a wedding planner is a personal decision. You are trusting someone with your ideas, your plans and a day that matters enormously to you.
That trust has always meant a great deal to me. From the first conversation through to the wedding day, my aim is to help couples feel listened to, supported and confident about their plans.
There are so many details behind a wedding: finding the right suppliers, bringing the schedule together, answering questions and making sure everyone knows what needs to happen. Throughout it all, I want couples to have the space to enjoy the experience.
Knowing that our couples chose to vote for us makes this recognition particularly special.
To every couple who has invited us to be part of their wedding, shared their experience or recommended us to someone they love, thank you. Your support means so much.
I also want to thank the team, venues and suppliers who work alongside us. Every wedding brings together people with different skills, and their care and commitment help turn plans into a celebration.
