Meghan and Brian
Meghan and Brian first met through a shared friendship group while at college. What began as friendship gradually grew into something more, and by 2015 they officially began their relationship — celebrating their anniversary each year on 1st May after their memorable “first official date” at Five Guys.
Over the years, they built a wonderful life together through moves, demanding careers, travel, and treasured time with family and friends. After ten years together, Brian proposed during a trip to Acadia National Park, with their beloved dog Willow by their side. Soon after, they decided on a destination wedding in Scotland.
Ceremony Planning & Guest Experience
The day began with a relaxed breakfast for the couple and their families before preparations started. Hair and makeup for the bridal party ran to schedule, florals were installed throughout the venue, and final styling touches were completed to create a polished and elegant setting.
As with many Scottish weddings, weather flexibility was key. We planned both indoor and outdoor ceremony options, allowing us to make the final location decision on the day while keeping everything stress-free for the couple.
Guests were seated just before the ceremony, where Meghan made her entrance accompanied by her parents and the sound of traditional bagpipes. The ceremony included heartfelt vows, ring exchange, and a beautiful handfasting ritual — a meaningful nod to Scottish tradition.
Following the ceremony, we coordinated drinks, canapés, and photographs while guests enjoyed the setting and celebrated with the newlyweds.
Dining, Dancing & Personal Touches
Guests were then piped into dinner, where personalised whiskey glass favours awaited each place setting. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, with spontaneous speeches throughout the meal creating a genuine and personal feel.
As evening arrived, Meghan and Brian shared their first dance, followed by special family dances that brought the perfect close to the day.
